Paintings and photographs are placed with their inverted pair - a photogram by Di Turi with a black background is next to its white-backgrounded double; a diptych of paintings by Veness contains the same visual elements, but with different colours. The work focusses in on details, cutting out what is extraneous and reducing forms to their essentials: rectangles, triangles, circles; and has much in keeping with Modernist traditions of simplicity and pared-down elements.
